Kerkrade
Located in the far south of Holland, this used-to-be mining village is widely renowned for its great interpretation of the yearly 'carnival' festival. The local soccer team is Roda J.C., which at the time of writing is the only club from Limburg that is actually competing in the national major league. On this page you'll be able to see a couple of pictures from my school, its surroundings, scenes from Bram Nieuwenhuizen's birthday, and a couple of surprises from a very old album indeed. All people from Kerkrade take great pride in the fact that I was born there.
