Tokyo, first visit.
At Leiden University, I participated in the 'Japanese Business Programme', basically a course which taught about the Japanese way of doing business, the business language and a lot of other things concerning the way business is being done in Japan. A part of that course was actually doing an internship in Japan with a Japanese company, to get experience. My teacher did so much for me trying to find a suitable company for me to go to, and finally it turned out that I would go to Philips Japan. And what a great time I would have there! I was working in Shinagawa and living in Otsuka, both of which are towns in Tokyo. I was there from october thru december, 2002. Below, you will find a selection of the pictures I took during the three months I was in Tokyo. Enjoy!
